Aasan (Pooja Mat)

The importance of Asana is revealed by Bhagwan Shiv in Shri Guru Gita where he describes that one should never do jap/meditation/yagya without asana. He says yellow coloured wool asana is the best for doing jap. It is said that if any jap is done without asana, Lord Indra takes half the punya. This asana is energized with the divine path by Pujya Gurudev’s blessings, hence will give more results in a short period of time.
